We are looking for an experienced Senior Key Account Manager to develop and grow relationships with some of our largest and most strategic customers across the UK.

This is a senior commercial role for an established sales professional with a proven track record of selling Trucks/Commercial vehicles or high-value capital equipment.

You will be responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of nominated key accounts and prospects across the UK, maximising vehicle volumes and margins while building long-term customer partnerships. You will develop strategic account plans, identify new opportunities and work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver sustainable growth for Renault Trucks UK.

Who are you?:

This is a senior commercial role where you will lead complex, high-value sales opportunities from initial engagement through to solution development, quotation, negotiation and contract award.

  • Proven track record managing and growing large strategic key accounts, with a strong history of delivering commercial results within a B2B environment
  • Significant experience selling trucks and commercial vehicles or high capital equipment, ideally within an OEM environment.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience managing complex, high-value sales cycles and securing significant customer contracts.
  • Strategic approach to account management, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, develop account plans and build long term customer relationships.
  • Confident communicator and presenter, with the ability to influence and engage senior decision-makers, procurement teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel extensively across the UK, including regular nights away from home.

The Role and Responsibilities:

Relationship management is not limited to negotiations on sales, you will be actively involved in ensuring customer satisfaction across all aspects of the business relationship by working closely with all other departments to ensure proactive management of all business interactions and resolutions.

  • Developing account plans to maximise vehicle volumes, revenue and margin.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders and decision makers, becoming a trusted commercial partner.
  • Lead complex, high-value sales opportunities from initial engagement through to solution development, quotation, negotiation and contract award.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and work closely with the dealer network and internal teams to ensure successful delivery, aftermarket support and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts, develop new business and use market and customer insight to drive future growth.
  • Represent Renault Trucks at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events, while providing clear reporting on fleet activity, forward orders, market conditions and sales opportunities.

You will be part of a team of six, comprising five Key Account Managers covering the UK and the National Key Account Manager, working together to develop strategic customer relationships and deliver sustainable growth.
